We never advocate knockoffs. Ever. But there does seem to be a common zeitgeist that designers subconsciously tap into to bring us the hottest trends season after season (hello, floral denim for spring).

L.A.'s own Heather Gardner and Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci must have been on the same sweet wavelength with their shark tooth accessories this season, and we're so stoked that this month's rent check won't have to go mysteriously "missing" to get in on this under-the-sea style. For $255 (versus $892), Heather's bauble may not be as big, bold, or badass, but Vanessa Hudgens doesn't seem to care (she's been living in hers) ? and we don't want to go scaring anyone, anyway!

Full disclosure: We remember Brad Goreski from way back when, before the TV tear sheds and red-carpet coups (we?re still reeling from Jessica Alba?s Golden Globes moment last year). We?ve all rejoiced in his sky-rocketing success story because, at the end of the day, it took oodles of elbow grease and killer wit to become Bravo?s It?s A Brad Brad World It Boy.

But, after our revealing interview, we learned things about the 34-year-old Toronto native that made us adore him so much more. Yes, he talked a tad about his feud with Zoe (although he?d rather not), but with his memoir, Born To Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far hitting shelves today, he actually opened up about so many more important skeletons that were previously in his closet (did you know that being 10 years sober is his secret weapon, or that he used to rummage around in bins full of the Goodwill's toss-offs?).

And don?t worry, we got into his literal closet, too, snagging shots of him donning looks loaded with spring tips and tricks that work for guys and girls from every walk of life. With a fresh gig as Kate Spade?s stylist and a slew of celebrities banging down his door, this may be the last time he comes up for air for a long while. So, take a good gander?and notes!

For his last collection at Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati did just that. His coats, dresses, tops, and trousers were cut in strongly tailored '80s shapes - broad-topped, angular, and belted. Chainmail dresses, slinky jumpsuits, and asymmetrical furs felt darkly glam in dusky greens and inky blacks; and the house's Le Smoking was re-imagined in sharp swaths of silver or leather. It was tough, chic, and as confident as they come.

Pilati may be out, but he's not looking back.

Terry Richardson And A Shoe Fetish? Shocking?

Terry Richardson has both feet firmly planted on the ground ? or something. We love the glimpse of one of his latest ad campaigns to come out for Aldo. We have to admit, we're pretty stoked on the continuation of this relationship. There's just something about a shoe fetish and Terry that makes utter and complete sense.

In any case, in true Terry form the new spring campaign is shot in all sorts of bright poppy colors and is full of (not so) subtle sexual innuendos, making us itch for some major open-toe action and for the warmer climate to hurry up already. Also we have to admit, we're major fans of the sock and sandal action going on in the ad and video. It's such a cute throwback to vintage looks -- obviously once it's warm enough to shed our tights and go bare, we'll be rocking this look all the time.

These Sneakers Are L.A. Lights For Adults (Score!)

Love sneaker culture but feel uncomfy with your kicks being fashioned who-knows-where overseas? Then dig on Electrolites Footwear, a brand-new Brooklyn duo whose designs appeal to an adult's comfy-shoe fetish without all the footprints (of the ecological type, of course). Launched last year by pals Doug Berman and Matthew Paul, the line has three basic shoe types ? with adorable floral-and-seersucker lining ? plus a seasonal collaboration with a young local artist. "We (looked) for artists who had a refined style all of their own,? says Paul, hoping to have the creative define the shoe, not the other way around. The result is a unisex pair of basketball-like, limited-edition sneakers, that, like our favorite pair of shoes from the third grade, light up when we walk.

?We were jokingly discussing the idea of creating light-up sneakers for adults,? says Paul. "We became focused on creating a brand that embodied the energy, creativity, and drive of New York City." Not only are the three-year-'round models amazing, rendered in luxe suede or canvas, but the artist collaborations are truly special. The show features many works from Italian photographer Daniele Tamagni, as well as other European and African artists.
