NYFW - Elie Tahari F/W 2011

Lacy, sheer, gothic romance. For Elie Tahari's Fall/ Winter 2011 collection, it was all about luxury and drama with flowing layers of chiffon, peek-a-boo lace and high, stiff necklines. Silhouettes of free-flowing fluid fabrics were seen in dresses and wide leg trousers and balanced out with form-fitting, intricate lace bodices. From gauzy layers to equestrian inspired looks, Elie Tahari took classic fall and winter colors of browns and taupes, dramatic black and luxe white and infused them with a great eye for detail. Perfect draping and flattering bias cuts, plus fur trim, leather and subtle leopard prints gave the collection it's edge.
