Michelle Obama's Brazilian Style
Proving that he really is the people's president, Barack Obama spent time in the "City of God," the neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro depicted in the 2002 movie of the same name.
The first family was treated to a capoeira performance by children from the neighborhood, and they loved every minute of it! Michelle looked sensational in another bright and cheery ensemble.
Her colorful look included a tropical green printed skirt, canary yellow twin-set, a turquoise-adorned choker and comfortable metallic ballet flats.

When boarding Air Force One, Michelle Obama and her beautiful daughter Malia proved that there's no reason not to travel in style.
Twelve-year-old Malia looked age appropriate in a polka-dotted mini skirt that she paired with an army-green jacket and cute cream ankle boots.
Michelle looked put together and professional in a knee-length maroon skirt, stripped blouse and fitted black leather blazer.

Michelle, her daughters and her mother, Marion Robinson (who is traveling with the family to take care of the girls), were guests of honor at a youth-led cultural performance at Oca da Tribo restaurant.
Looking stunning in a one-shouldered watercolor printed gold/gray dress by Rachel Roy, Michelle beamed from ear to ear while watching the Brazilian youth.

Black and gold bangles by Alexis Bittar adorned her arms, while lovely black-drop earrings completed her fashion-forward look. Michelle later added the matching jacket to her dress when the day's activities became more formal.

'Glamorous' might as well be Michelle Obama's middle name, because she gives a whole new meaning to the word. When meeting Brazilian President Dilma Vana Rousseff, Ms. Obama radiated style and sophistication in an elegant gold embroidered and beaded shift dress by Naeem Khan, which perfectly complimented her skin tone.
And it's clear the girls are clearly taking after their mom's sense of style, as she's the ultimate role model. They kept their looks all-American, with 9-year-old Sasha in a blue stars printed ruffle dress and her big sister, Malia, in a red-striped skirt and white sleeveless top.

The Obamas later traveled on to Rio de Janeiro. While the president deplaned in his business-as-usual suit, the Obama ladies had a more casual, laid-back look.
Michelle Obama stood out against the dark sky in her sunny ensemble, debuting a mix of contrasting colors, layers and textures.
Her blue tank top popped against a yellow cardigan and floral printed skirt, creating a feminine, yet relaxed look.

On Sunday night, the president brought his family to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue high above the hills of Rio de Janeiro. It was moving to see the united first family hand in hand, descending the staircase in front of the spiritual monument, making a statement to the world about their love and faith.
The chilly temperatures at the top of the hills forced the Obamas into jackets and pants, with Michelle opting for flowing wide-leg black pants and a matching trench. Her girls were adorable in cropped jeans, while the president looked relaxed in slacks and a button-down shirt.

The family left Brazil early Monday morning heading for Chile.
Michelle looked relaxed and casual in a rainbow-colored silk Marc by Marc Jacobs "Simone Stripe Dress". She added a cropped white sweater, metallic flats and a few clear bangles to round out her travel chic look.
