John Galliano, Fired by Dior, Checks Into Rehab (The Daily Beast)

The Daily Beast - The designer, who was fired from Christian Dior, will now stand trial for his anti-Semitic slurs, the Paris public prosecutor’s office announced Wednesday. Earlier today, the designer spoke out for the first time to issue a public apology. He has also asserted the grounds for a defamation case, saying he was the subject of an “unprovoked assault.” Galliano has reportedly been persuaded by Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell to check into The Meadows Rehab Center in Arizona immediately. Karl Lagerfeld, meanwhile, condemned Galliano on Wednesday, saying "I am furious." But a question remains: what’s next for Dior? Isabel Wilkinson reports.
